This is becoming more and more popular. Normally delivered from 8am - 8:50am. Pupils begin the day with Physical Activity, helping to stimulate them ready for the school day ahead.
Our after-school clubs include a wide range of sports all taught by skilled, specialist coaches. Some examples of theafter-school clubs we are currently providing in schools are: football, netball, multi-skills, street dance, taekwondo, boxing, cheerleading, hand ball, gymnastics and tennis. Our coaches undertake a practical and verbal interview and also ongoing training to ensure that we maintain high standards. We have excellent feedback from all our schools in terms of the skills, professionalism and enthusiasm of our coaches.
Our PPA coaches plan and deliver lessons based on the P.E curriculum. We provide in – depth training for our coaches to deliver whole class lessons and detailed planning and assessment frameworks. We are well established in seven primary schools who are impressed with the hard work and professionalism of our coaches within the school environment. Our learning mentors within schools encourage positive behaviour within all pupils and are excellent role models to children who need extra guidance.
First Kicks have been running successful fitness camps for children and adults for over 5 years in different locations based in North London. Our adult and child sessions run at the same time; this allows parents / guardians to work out with an expert adult fitness coach, whilst their children train with a highly qualified multi-skills coaches. Alternatively, parents can drop their children off knowing they are safe, having fun and keeping fit.
We also provide fitness classes for teachers as an after school boot camp.
First Kicks Sports Ltd holiday camps run in Enfield, Barking and Dagenham, Haringey and Hackney. We plan and deliver jam packed days of activities for children during the Easter and Summer holidays. We not only utilise our sports coaches during these camps but also plan and deliver arts and crafts and educational games. We can have up to 85 children attending our camps of all ages, abilities and needs and we ensure the safety and well-being is of the highest standard. Parents return their children to the camps year after year and we have brilliant feedback after every camp including emails to the local councils from parents.
